My story
My journey as a cook took a bit of a shift when I started to center my meals around plants. Cutting all animal meat out of my diet changed my cooking style a whole lot. I had to adapt my favorite recipes and the traditional ones passed down to me to cater my new eating style. At first, it was a disaster! The meals weren’t as flavorful and satiating. I felt like I had lost my touch in the kitchen, but through lots of trial and error, I navigated my way back and this limitation actually inspired me to eat and cook outside the box!
