My story

My journey as a cook took a bit of a shift when I started to center my meals around plants. Cutting all animal meat out of my diet changed my cooking style a whole lot. I had to adapt my favorite recipes and the traditional ones passed down to me to cater my new eating style. At first, it was a disaster! The meals weren’t as flavorful and satiating. I felt like I had lost my touch in the kitchen, but through lots of trial and error, I navigated my way back and this limitation actually inspired me to eat and cook outside the box

My Mission

My goal is to encourage you to eat outside of the box too! Trust me, it’s a much more colorful life. You know what they say, “eat the rainbow, feel the rainbow.” I want to push you to take risks in the kitchen, try combinations you didn’t even think were possible, elevate some of your favorite classic recipes, and most importantly, I want my recipes to inspire you to cook with your intuition. Recipes come and go, but intuition is forever! It’s an ability that you can hone and rely on for the rest of your life. 

The recipes I share are a mix of my wild thoughts on a plate, constant urge to combine different flavors and textures, and a love for all the nostalgic food I grew up eating.
